Beacon

A gloomy old day but no rain. I went out to Shaldon this afternoon and walked through the village. The waves were bigger than I thought they'd be. A bit of swell in advance of Storm Ciara, I suppose. It isn't due to hit until Saturday night/Sunday as I understand it.

The beacon marks the entrance to Teignmouth harbour and the rocks on the horizon are the base of The Ness which stands to the west of the entrance.

I used a two second exposure for this one and to my eye it's given some nice textures.
