Snowdrops

You all know what I think about gardening but sometimes it has to be done.  We needed to tidy it up so that it looks OK so we spent most of the day weeding and clearing beds.  There was quite a bit of grass in one bed but as it had only grown last year it was not deep rooted and was actually quite satisfying to pull up in big clumps.  The whole thing looks a lot better now and the snowdrops, primulas and irises that are in bloom look so much better for being more on display.
