Finding time

Yet another pastime which I wish I could find time to do more of. Painting and drawing can really help a photographer learn about the rules of composition, what colours work together and proportion of subjects. You do hear a lot of people say "I wish I could draw" to which the answer is that you can. As a child you would quite happily spend time with paints, crayons, chalk and pencils and create a masterpiece it is just that as we grow up our expectations of what we can achieve/should be able to achieve is greater so now that when we now put pencil to paper we are much more critical of the outcome.
