Well it's been a strange old day and weekend I'd not wish to repeat. But I've at least made one decision for my own peace of mind. I'm not getting behind a steering wheel again until the snow has cleared. It might mean some long journeys to work via train and on foot but it can't be any worse than 5 hours behind the wheel!
