'Savoury Cooking Today.......Sunday Dinner..!

Late Blip...busy day .....visiting my Mum-in-Law...
and then home to get dinner as my daughters boyfriend was joining us...!
He really loves 'meat' and has wanted to try this roast for ages...
This is what I believe is known in the US as a "Turducken".......
which translates as a duck beast inside a turkey breast wrapped in chicken breasts with a pork-meat stuffing in between them.....!
Well it was a first for me.....but I can reliably inform all that it was delicious....!
I didn't put it together myself.....altho' I have seen one of our Irish chefs do something similar.......!
I bought this one!!
However the dish of stuffing and the Potato Dauphinoise are my own recipes....
and were the perfect accompaniment to the roast.....!
A truly pleasing dinner on this very cold, sleety, wintery evening.....
Every scrap was eaten so I'm afraid no left-overs for the Kitty Boy....!!!
He won't be too pleased in the morning.....
