Checking out the white stuff.

London panicking about the snow today - my trains ran on the 'severe weather reduced schedule' even in the morning without so much as a snow flake in sight! By the afternoon there was a good amount of snow falling even in London and D got to play in it at nursery. I left the office a bit early and together with Daddy who met us at the station we enjoyed the walk home. Well, I enjoyed being a kid again entirely for D's sake of course - I threw snow in the air for him, jumped into drifts and slid along the pavement spurred on by his laughter. Having a child is great! Once we got to the gate we let D explore the front garden promising him that we'd play properly in the snow tomorrow. Hoping it lasts that long!
