Blanket

I landed back at Heathrow this morning. We actually had a beautiful clear view of London, but then to the west there was a thick blanket of fog. When we landed there was almost zero visibility! Thank goodness for modern technology - AND skilful pilots! I found out later that other flights were diverted, both yesterday and today as well I believe. The fog was ok for the drive home but it remained foggy way into the afternoon. It cleared a little while after my long nap and I enjoyed some time in the garden before a quick sunset walk at the lake.
