At the edge of winter wonderland

Today I got chance to visit at Rankki island which is locating in the Gulf Of Finland 10 km's from city of Kotka. I've been there few times on summer, but never on winter. Usually it's not possible to visit there on winter, but this year sea is not frozen at all, so boats can sail to there.

We were also lucky, because last night there was also got a pure white snow blanket on island, which made scenes superb together with misty grey weather. Little issue was ice under the snow ta some places, hence had to walk very carefully on rocks, but it really was worth it
