Daisy

I found what I thought would be a new area to explore near Mum's - a lake in old gravel pits being developed for wild swimming, diving and canoing with an adjacent nature reserve.  Disappointingly, the lake was surrounded by a 6ft high wire fence with warnings every few yards to "Keep Out" and "Trespassers will be prosecuted".  As for the nature reserve, there was no sign of it.

Eventually I stopped on the edge of a new housing estate built on the edge of the lake an had a pleasant walk round part of the lake's perimeter using newly built paths. Once the building is complete and the landscaping finished, the residents should be very pleased with their new surroundings ... it's just a pity about the lack of access to the lake.

I found this little clump of daisies on some waste ground and managed to show them against the blue sky.
