Match-day

Match-day at the Falkirk Stadium and it was a wet and windy evening at that. The Bairns' opponents were Premiership team Heart of Midlothian, with the visitors winning this Scottish Cup tie 1-0 despite Falkirk hitting the post twice and the bar once.

It certainly wasn't a classic and the real winner was the weather. Disappointed, but can't complain too much about the result against a team playing two leagues above us. Hard to tell the difference on tonight's showing.
