Great Dismal Swamp Canal

Today we took a trip to Chesapeake to visit Kaye Ellen as it's been about three weeks since we've last seen her. We went to the 757 Creative Reuse store to donate some crafting items, took a look around the store and only bought a couple things. Then we went to lunch at Doumar's. It's been around forever and its claim to fame is the invention of the waffle cone. The food was pretty good. After that, we took a drive to the Great Dismal Swamp State Park in Camden, North Carolina. Unfortunately, we got there with less than a hour before they closed so we didn't get to walk the boardwalk trail.
