Tough Day - tough week!

Today was spent traveling to Pink Hill & then Deep Run as we laid to rest the fiancé of Kent’s nephew, Ernie.

Ernie had come home from work one morning, earlier this week, to find Amanda asleep in the recliner. Only she wasn’t asleep.

It’s been a tough week for the family with many obstacles to overcome but as they all pulled together they got through them.

Today Kent’s brother, Keith conducted the funeral service and then at the graveside, Kent said a few words.

The sun was shining but it was biting cold and once home again it took me several hours to thaw out.
