Flower Festival

Today was the start of the Annual Chiang Mai Flower Festival.   Howard was busy so I joined our friends from England and we visited the festival.   There were, as usual some fantastic displays.  The focus this year was on local crafts.  I will add an extra  of the beautifully embroidered costumes, plus a potter. The only downside was that we had to wear face masks to protect ourselves from the pollution and the virus that is sweeping across SE Asia.  

Later we had lunch at a lovely small hotel.  It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
