... jumped for joy by jabbing and hitting the jackpot.


Birds are silly. They are one of the joys of my life because they constantly make me smile.  This Mexican Jay made me laugh out loud. By hook or by crook, she was going to get as much seed from that almost empty platform feeder as she could. She tried and tried and tried. As was once said about a prominent woman politician by the most annoying turtle-man on earth, "...nevertheless, she persisted."
