Birthday Boy

Today we drove up to a Bedfordshire for Ryan’s birthday.
On the way we stopped at Crondall in Hampshire for an explore. My grandma was born there back in 1901 so we wanted to see the village. Lovely little place with a beautiful church (pic)and we think we found the house where she was born.
Then stopped at St Albans for a walk in the park and we had the joy of seeing a kingfisher - in the same tree as we saw one many years ago. Also a quick visit to the cathedral. A stunning place.
Then on to book into our hotel then on to the surprise party in Harpenden. Ry was really surprised when he got there which was great. Fab evening had by all.
