We’re in the midst of the storm. Rain, high waves, windows rattling. Up to 72mph wind gusts here on the coast (max due around now). Stormy weather continues for a couple of days.

Some trees down, some flooding. Not aware of anything too bad down here, yet. At one point sounded as tho’ a window was about to blow out on the enclosed balcony.

Will accompany Mr B to tennis at 1:30 and read the papers. Hope no roads blocked.

Very dark and gloomy. Time for a shower. May watch ‘Bait’ on Curzon Cinema later, acclaimed film, from a fisherman’s perspective, on the gentrification of Cornwall.
