Like the rest of the country it seems, we had a wild night last night as Storm Ciara strutted her stuff.  We woke to find a panel of garden fencing blown down.  No other damage so far though...… we have had a stay at home day, and I managed to do a very big ironing, so time was not wasted.

Spent a happy half hour watching the birds, stocking up I think for the bad weather ahead, they were very busy at the bird feeders, and the two goldfinches were the busiest, back and forth they went so many times.  Very pretty and colourful birds.  I sometimes wonder how such delicate little creatures survive in this weather, and am glad that we at least take the trouble to feed them.

My wish is for everyone to stay safe during the storm...….
