Native Lily
The mistress was busy tidying up the law this morning with her weedwhacker, then she got some visitors this afternoon. When they left she picked me up and took me for a walk. Just a small one, but a walk nonetheless - her first in 3 years. Still no pain in the foot - she's rapt. She can't stop singing which is getting a little tedious! But I guess if I were pain free after 3 years, I would be singing too!
She found this in a garden and recognised it as a native Lily. She was surprised to see it down here, as wondered if it may be too cold for them compared to Auckland but figures they must be hardy. The mistress looked for it's proper name but couldn't find it.
She's also pleased tonight as she's finally eating totally out of her vege garden, which means she doesn't have to spend anything this week on food. Tonight she had spring onions, carrot, spinach, courgette, and beans for tea, all freshly picked!
