Snow Moon

The Snow Moon is the poetic name given to February's full moon, because there is usually snow on the ground this time of year. Some Native American tribes named this the Hunger Moon; others called it the Storm Moon. Call it what you will, it sure put on a glorious show early in the evening before the clouds covered it.

Also of note, and totally unrelated: a game I like to play with Dexter is to put a droplet of water atop one of his ultra-clean white paws, and see how long he will let it stay there before shaking it off. (After all, it WAS a Caturday, and time to play with the cat.) You may see a photo of this silly exercise in the extras! :-)
