Yes, that really is 'parked'

Gilmore Place on my way home from work. The street is peppered with B&Bs. not an issue in itself, but they all got permission to turn tiny front garden areas into parking spaces. I'm pretty sure the Balmore (on of the worst offenders) has more spaces than their old planning permission allowed, and the spaces in front of a bay window are, by the very existence of that window, shorter. Add in an oversized penis-extension SUV, and you have.... 

Pedestrians having to walk out into the road. In the dark. At rush hour. With traffic going both directions. Out into the cycle lane. So cyclists have to move into the general traffic. On a really poorly surfaced road.

I've raised this before. Seems the councillors couldn't care less.
