Ciara and the fruitcake.

Not the day for a pleasurable walk in the countryside with storm force (9) winds and horizontal rain. Fragile trees add another potential hazard so better to keep away. Different hazards were encountered in making my first fruit cake, but I think I got away with it! Also made stew and dumplings for dinner.

The extra is the view from the front of the house, late afternoon, and probably the same anywhere in the country.
