Lens hoods keep the rain off just as much as the sun.

If you look closely over on the right; you can, maybe, see how high it was some time ago, before I got there.

One is forced to hope their recent "Repairs" to the bridge were satisfactory?

Still no sign of the wind they threatened us with; it must have either been last night, or still to come. I kept having a peep out the front window; it has never been this bad all day.
