Surprise visitor

Storm Ciara has really made her presence felt today! It has been a tad rough to say the least!

It was raining & windy all night ..... but nothing compared to the ferocity of the storm when it really hit!

There have been wheelie bins rolling round the streets .... an abandoned fridge/freezer travelling down the road ..... a neighbour's basket ball hoop stand has been blown down ...... in another nearby garden their trampoline has pinned itself into the corner .... thankfully they have a high fence which stopped it taking off!

Needless to say we didn't venture out for a walk this afternoon!

One good thing that came out of it all (before the torrential rain arrived) ...... was a pair of Blue Tits coming to feed ..... they managed to find a relatively sheltered spot in the garden :-)

I assume they felt safe as the Starlings have not put in an appearance today! The poor little things must have been hungry as I doubt there were many insects about! Such a treat to see them :-)

Extras: The view from the window during the height of the storm & last night's Snow Moon shining brightly!

Thankfully the worst of the storm seems to be over now .... still rather windy but much calmer!
