Boys and their toys

Today was number one (step)son's 50th birthday! My goodness how did he get to be that old?  So his Dad organised a get together.  No 2 and No 3 sons both made the effort to get there (No 3 from Washington DC, bless him) and they had a wonderful couple of hours playing in the mud on quad bikes, along with #1 son's kids! There was a trail, through a forest, streams, up hill, down dale etc. The females all declined, bar Eloise who also went and really enjoyed herself. 
We went to a close by Nursery and enjoyed some coffee and chat before heading back and joining them all for Sunday lunch in a nearby pub. This was very pleasant and great for my sister to see the family all together.
After lunch we came back along a blustery M5 to Barnstaple whilst the others went back to play some more. Due to the winds their archery was cancelled but there were other fun things to be done apparently!
A most enjoyable day and lovely to see all the lads together again and for Y to see the grands.
