Madonna and child

This is one of the paintings made by  my mother .  She never signed copies and she hasn't signed this which makes me suspect that it is a copy of an old master but I haven't been able to find it on Google!  I'd love to know if anyone recognises it!  I used it to make yesterday's vortographs.

The storm certainly hit us here!  After mass, the weather was not good enough to go for a walk so Ro and I went to Tesco in Bury and it bucketed down.  The drains were not enough so fountains as the cars went through loads of water !  The rain was not far from horizontal!!  However it stopped by the time we had done our shopping and had a coffee!
