Oh Well There’s Always Next Week...

Today was a day to batten the hatches and sit out the storm. This morning was dreadful with horizontal rain and blowing a hooley...I really felt sorry for the girls working at the yard.

The roads and village green flooded as the beck broke it’s banks. Then at lunchtime, all of a sudden the rain stopped and the sun came out...I whizzed out with my camera, but not for long as I hadn’t appreciated how windy and cold it still was!

This afternoon the rain came back again so I planned to spend it by the fire, with my Dummies guide to Lightroom, my Mac and finally spend some time to really get to grips with it...best laid plans and all that...as I hadn’t opened Lightroom for so long, it had to update and along with a really slow broadband due to the weather... it took all afternoon..oh well, there’s always next week!
