River Tywi

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . . . to flood

As promised, last night was very wild and windy - and it continued well into today with gale force winds and lashing rain.  By mid-afternoon though it had calmed down enough for us to venture out.  

There was water everywhere - and the River Tywi was in flood as you can see here.  But as that is something which happens fairly often at this time of the year, things just seemed to be carrying on as usual.

There's more promised for tonight apparently.  Not the kind of weather I would like to get used to . . . . . . . . . . !
