Passable with care

The brook was brim full after Storm Ciara did its thing. Much worse effects elsewhere from reports.

The footbridge is a reasonable way of assessing the river levels. We have seen it higher a few times but this is high enough.

A poor day all round because watching and listening to bad weather is a bit addictive and big distraction from other activities.

Recorded Endeavour and Pale Horse let’s hope other people do want to watch them.   

We did watch the wonderful I know where I’m going 
on Talking Pictures TV. Captivating performances by Wendy Hiller in particular and Roger Livesey but the star is the Corryvreckan Whirlpool
