Storm Ciara

A very rough day today - winds gusting to over 70mph then rain arrived in the afternoon as well! The wind was so strong and from the right direction to blow open both of the dog flaps (see extra) the first dog flap is in the door from the conservatory into the garden, the second one is 8ft away going from the conservatory into the kitchen - both were flip-flapping merrily confusing the dogs no end! Outside in the rain the bird feeders were waving about merrily too - no birds to be seen all day! It's now 11pm and just started to rain heavily again. As usual, we can't really complain - many others have floods, no electricity, trees all over the place etc - we are safe, warm and dry.
