Scar on Arbutus

Very chilly with high clouds today. We were hoping for some sun on our walk but no luck. 
Looks like someone decided to carve a chunk out of this arbutus trunk. I think there's a wee heart in the bottom left. I love the colours in arbutus trees.
Extra: Not many people on the park today and no one enjoying a picnic. The trail was full of puddles, slippery and mucky. Still lovely to have a walk.
