Fun and Games!

Today the ceiling came down! I decided to go for a walk by the river the other side of Tavistock. It was a beautiful day and we had the place to ourselves! We did meet a couple with a Pointer on our way back. Oscar got on really well with him and chased him round and round , stopping to wrestle and then collapse on his back as he does with Ivy! There really is nothing more pleasing than watching Oscar play happily with another dog.Particularly as he will now stop and walk on with me when it's time to stop playing!
After this it was off to look at kitchen surfaces, sinks and taps! I knew it was a good place as they had a red rooster as it's logo! I was pleasantly surprised at how good the composite wooden work surfaces were and found a gorgeous black sink! I even found a couple of taps I liked! Next stop was for pet supplies and the final stop to drop more stuff at the Hospice shop.
Once home Oscar and I went round the back to go look at the kitchen ceiling. It was very messy and dusty but I have beams! Which I have decided are staying! It's just like the meditation room - something has to come down which takes the room in a direction you had not even thought about! I'm having such fun with this kitchen remodelling! The house is upside down, there is a fine layer of dust everywhere which is affecting my chest, the house is cold and manoeuvering Oscar up and downstairs is a nightmare with the stairgate only partially opening due to the fridge being in the hallway - but I couldn't be more excited!
