Powerage

evening all,

Well that was a day weather wise wasn't it....

I had planned an evening with a friend but a combination of lassitude, ineptitude and the weather forced a change of plans.

We had a power cut which lasted about five hours or so,

never do we have power cuts at the right times.

For instance, rather than a freezer full of cakes, ice creams and pavlovas we had mainly frozen peas which meant that there was little delight to be found in having to eat rapidly defrosting food items .

Managed to get a 5 k walk in today, that's one a day since the start of February, and also got a trail cam down near where I suspect the badgers to be.

Doubtful i'll be able to check it for next 48 hours or so, and with the weather this wild it may not survive, but we will see.
