St Mark's Square before dawn

The floods this morning were higher and we all borrowed wellies from the hotel for our early morning shoot. This meant we could access more of St Mark's Square. It was very misty which added to the appeal.

I rather liked the reflections from these tables and chairs, standing forlornly in the water. The yellow hue is from all the lights around the square. You have to work very quickly because the lights go off at 0730 every morning.

Most of our group cannot to home today because Heathrow is closed. One is going to Gatwick and his flight is OK it seems.

I'm packing to move to my B & B on the other side of the city.
