Horse-y fashion

After our pilates class today, while we were enjoying a coffee, I noticed the DB horses out and about on their exercise routine ... in a new carriage and complete with braided manes and tails!!!

Is this normal? Do horses in other parts of the world also have their manes and tails braided??? Is this horse fashion I'm asking?

I thought it was rather trendy actually. They seem a lot hairier than when I blipped them on Sept 3, last year.

Lovely WARM day today. Even had the windows open, yay!
