Crathes Castle

it was a bright sunny morning, even if a bit breezy. It seems the worst of storm Ciara passed a bit south of Aberdeen and Shire. Though it was a little windy the walled garden (a sheltered spot on a windy day I would have thought) had been closed due to the wind.

Instead we had a walk at the Deeside Railway followed by a cake at the Milton Brasserie.

On arriving at Crathes Castle I had taken a picture of the castle facing straight at the sun. It did not come out as I had hoped, but I have posted it as an extra,
