retro? luggage

My neighbour B is an op shop visitor and collector of amazing things. Her house is a treasure trove of china, glassware and silver, swatches of cloth, paintings, doilies, luggage, steamer trunks and so much more. She has a very keen eye.

For some reason these are out on her verge, which in the parlance of 'bring out your dead' verge collections means they are fair game.
So I have 'adopted' the little green case on top which will be perfect for weekends away and will hold the laptop and bits, change of clothes and toiletries AND because there are no wheels involved, means I will have to carry it around and not be able to stuff it full of non essentials.

David..of the 12kg back pack for an eight week walk..may be a little impressed??
