Storm Ciara was on its way out today but there was a bitter chill in the air.  Hailstones  have been threatened but not yet materialised.

Ben came to do a bit of work at Nextnorth whilst he waits to hear what is happening with South Korea.  The 'welcome orientation' day has been cancelled and the start of term has been delayed.  We haven't yet bought him a flight as things are still uncertain. 

After he was sent home from the Chinese University of Hong Kong because of the violence, he had to apply to another university for the second semester.  He could have chosen Canada or somewhere in Europe, but he chose Seoul National University and was accepted.  Now it seems that fear of the coronavirus may thwart Plan B.

This 'Study Abroad' year has certainly been more eventful than any of us could have imagined.
