The hyacinth

The hyacinth has grown I asked the question a couple of weeks ago! I know it is dark but I like it like this. It's how I feel today as I went to the funeral of an ex colleague and friend. Eileen. My age!  Many other ex colleagues  were there and saying that it is awful to go to a funeral of someone younger than you. 
I knew the funeral was 1.30pm so why was I there for 12.30!!! I drove into the centre of Blackburn and couldn't believe how much it had changed but so full of memories. Still very windy and cold but no rain until tonight.
