The welcoming embrace of Ciara

A group of twelve new nurses from the Philippines started their induction course in the Repair Factory this morning. 

At lunch time I spotted two of them googling the fee for changing their return ticket to tomorrow afternoon. 

Elsewhere I had words with a butcher over a vending machine illegally dumped outside the Intensive Care Unit. If I am found with a meat cleaver between my shoulder blades in the coming days, my colleagues know whose name to whisper in the somewhat attentive ear of the Gardai.
