Ballot success

I’ve just found out that I’ve been exceptionally lucky and won a place in my choir’s ballot to perform at the Edinburgh Festival.  The choir is composed of three of my choir leader’s choirs, and was heavily oversubscribed. I think I may have been in luck as sing the least popular part, bass. I’ve looked at hotel prices for August in Edinburgh. I think we will stay in Glasgow and commute!
