Turfed and closed

Another episode in the tedious saga of the restoration of E. Princes St Gdns. (By the time they're restored it'll be time to tear them up again for the festival season). They've relaid the turf, but I photographed this sign (and locked gate) at about 10 am today, so goodness knows when they'll re-open. Mind you, the council workies may have had a lot of unplanned stuff to do today in light of the fairly atrocious weather.

Later, I was introduced to the Gaelic for "Oh dear, there is a lion in your house again". You never know when it might come in handy.
