Blackcap

Wow that wind is strong and the lawn is like a pond again. 
Birds are still finding the feeders again with a fleeting visit from our woodpecker and a one off visit from this blackcap being the more unusual visitors today. 

Went to parents for a meal this evening and continued the planning of mum’s travelling year - she now has a trip to Rome and Madeira planned with my brother, a trip to Finland in search of the northern lights in October and a river cruise to see the Xmas markets in December with me and some shorter trips with my Dad as he cannot walk far at all plus a visit to see relatives in the Isle of Man in the summer with Dad. Although she is classed as in remission she is still suffering with side effects, the worst one being microscopic colitis. Hopefully this new course of drugs will start to control it soon as we are supposed to be taking them to Pembrokeshire in just over a week.
