Throw away fashion.

Went to the library this morning  to return the latest Peter May book, titled A Silent Death. I can highly recommend it.  Des,Vic,Jill & John were in the gym. Vic was a bit down as his lady hasn't been in touch since Saturday.. He has bought her a Valentine's card, and said, jokingly, I was going to buy a dozen red roses, but unless she gets in touch, it will be one. He has booked a table to take her out for a meal as well. I left the gym and walked into town, and had a look in the bridal shop window. There was in a notice in the window,  which said,closed for a refurbishment, and there was a big pile of blankets, with a sign that said, scouse mess. Town was dead, not surprisingly as the wind  doesn't seem to have died down at all. The newspaper dresses were in the window of the Sue Ryder Charity shop advertising a fashion show to be held shortly.
