The Rookery: Macrobin

Went to The Rookery with the macro lens mounted; sun was forecast, so I'd intended to photograph the blossom, or emerging spring flowers, but that blip plan got derailed by this exceptionally friendly robin which followed me around persistently as I poked around trying to get close to flowers... It came very close to me on several occasions, even allowing me to move my hand close (not close enough to touch, but only by a hand's width). I found it rather thrilling...
