Waiting

Went to see the Tutenkhamun exhibition. It was amazing, even more so for knowing that all these amazing artifacts came from a small tomb (which happened not to have been badly looted). The highlight was an ornate necklace in which the central scarab was made out of amber glass from a meteorite strike in Namibia. It was annoying that Tut himself wasn't there (despite the exhibition being named after him and him being on all the posters), but his gran's coffin was suitably impressive. No photos inside so here's mother and daughter waiting in line.
