Wood Pigeon ...

… rather distant, but with a nice head turn (its Wiki page is here).  We haven't seen many of them this stay, hardly more than a half-dozen--definitely fewer than on any of our previous stays. They were definitely numerous three years ago, as I mention here. This link includes an extra of Giacometti portraits--a fortuitous anticipation of a visit to the Giacometti Institute which I'm planning for tomorrow.  Today included preparing the bedding for guests arriving day-after-tomorrow (the comforters include covers which are not simple to put on :)
