Canal walk

Well more snow fell overnight so i decided to don my wellies, wrap up warm and go for a walk by the canal just down the road. It looked stunning with the water iced up and thick snow on the branches, although there was a noticable absence of birdlife.
On walking back to the house Stanley came racing down the road to meet me so we had a short snowball fight whilst chatting to the neighbour who very kindly scraped my car for me as it was buried under inches of snow. He now has little snowy pom poms round his backend...that's Stanley, not the neighbour i hasten to add ;-))
Just a quiet afternoon now and a relaxing evening ahead. :-)
