Singapore is a beautiful, clean, and expensive city.  Some people grumble about the high cost of living, but education is excellent and crime is very low.  All tourists are handed a card at customs, pointing out that the penalty for smuggling drugs into Singapore is death.  Everyone learns English in school, so English, Chinese and Malay are all commonly spoken here.
