FAC73

For those who don't know, FAC73 was the catalogue number for New Order's 'Blue Monday'. According to the media today is 'blue monday' - the most depressing day of the year.

I think this was the first 12" single I bought, although my memory is hazy because it was a long, long time ago. I loved the fact that neither the band name nor track name appeared anywhere on it - you were just expected to know.
Allegedly the colours and symbols at the top mean something, although I never worked it out (and no, I don't want to use google to find out). I remember reading that New Order lost money on every copy sold because the sleeve was so expensive to produce.
