Garden Centres that don't have plants

OK. So it is winter and I don't really need much but we all went on a trip and all they had were brass statues and water features. Do people only buy plants once they are fully in leaf and flowering (not the best time to plant don't you know). Means they all end up as impulse purchases. Does mean I end up getting things cheaper that have just flowered. Patience is one thing you do need for gardening. That and some terriers to keep the cats out the garden.

Anyway. We had fun, had cake and coffee and then came home
